Dear Pine Grove Crossing Community:
We have not sent an update in several days and wanted to get a note out to all of you to touch base. As of this moment, we are still waiting for some of the results on our resident that displayed respiratory symptoms last week. This resident continues to do well and we are anticipating results in the next 24-48 hours. The individual continues to be isolated in their apartment, is getting proper care and will remain isolated until they are cleared by medical professionals. Again, to be very clear, this is not a confirmed case of COVID-19. We also can share with you that no other residents are reporting symptoms and that is encouraging.
We continue to follow the protocol for all residents and associates that was previously established through consultation with the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), our skilled and capable clinical team, and our Medical Consultant, Dr. Gagandeep Singh.
We have also established a childcare allowance plan for our associates who have school age children and are now burdened with the cost and need for childcare so that they can be at work caring for your loved ones.
We are so fortunate to have a dedicated team that is committed to being onsite each day to provide residents with compassionate care and attention. We hope you are enjoying connecting with your loved ones with the Heart Legacy Remy program. Please reach out to the community if you need support with this.
If you have any further questions, please reach out to Pine Grove Crossing’s Executive Director, Rita Waxon.
